Well? Is it a secret?
Are you promoting everything you've got to sell?
It is a mystery (to non-hoteliers at any rate) - why don't hotels promote far in advance?
Have you been conned into thinking that everyone waits until the last minute to book?
...because nothing is farther from the truth...
There are 525,600 minutes in every year. Why do hotels seem so keen to wait until the last one to sell rooms? Or food?

You tell me! I can't understand it.

It's not as though each year is different, is it?

New Year, Valentines day, Shrove Tuesday, Easter, Bank Holiday weekends, Summer, more Bank Holiday weekends, Autumn, school holidays, Winter, Christmas and back to New Year.

...and none of this includes patron Saints days, celebrations of national figures (in Scotland we have Burns Night for example) and all sorts of things that happen at the same time of year, year in, year out.
People who book, often like to book in advance. If they book with airlines they get big discounts for doing so.
I heard from an hotelier last week that nearly 30% of their bookings actually happened more than 45 days in advance. He got quite a shock. He only maintains rooms on his extranets 60 days in advance. What is he missing out on?

If someone is sitting in front of their computer in February, looking for a deal on a long weekend stay in October, will they find one of your offers?
